John "Jack" Walser for City of Torrance Councilmember District 6

Jack Walser and his wife raised two children in Torrance and has always been actively involved in the community.

Jack holds B.S. in engineering and MBA degrees. He worked for years in local industry before founding and operating his own successful Torrance business, WALSER’S, which has contributed substantially with recycling services, Madrona Marsh donations, toy drives and more.

Former City of Torrance Councilmember, appointed in 2021, Chair of the Citizen’s Development and Enrichment Council Committee, Member of the Community Planning and Design as well as Transportation Council Committees

• Board Member of the Torrance Salvation Army since 2015
• Thirteen year volunteer ski instructor for disabled people
